Im gonna be an asshole. John Paul EXPIRED. New pope; Enter Benedict XIV. I dont understand why there was all this commotion about having a black dude as a pope. Nostradamus predicted it would be a sign of the anti-christ. Since when, in 5,000,000,000,000,000,001 years, will the pope be Satan? Im not following too good. I think it would be great to have a pope of different culture, and color. President wouldnt be bad either. I think that since they chose this dude, they didn't look into the future too much; This guy looks a hell of a lot older than John Paul. I can give him two more years, and then another pope is needed. Im hoping its Pope Kuntakente.

So, SB rocked. Me, Matt, and Jeff all went to california. We had a kickass time there. We walked around a ton. Some of the places we're Venice Beach, Hollywood and Vine, Sunset, and The Getty, a kick ass museum. I also got a tattoo which rocks. I'll post it up sometime soon when i feel like it if you never see me around. We saw a shit load of celebs while i was there. We saw Tim Meadows, Steve Jocz from Sum 41, Tre Cool from Greenday, Travis Barker, Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas (small as all hell, like 4 foot 9. Hot as all hell though.) and thats it. I also had a good conversation with the bassist from Funeral For A Friend. We might get some a show hooked up somewhere in the D with them when they're done with their recording. Thats pretty much all ive got to say, til then, eat something, get some sleep.

NF live tonight rocked. Everyone did great. The bands and musical acts were awesome. Started out with the Freshman Band playing a Britney Spears cover which caught my ear generously. Rouge, Lisa's band was solid like a rock for the two months they've been together, Apart from You was awesome, and theyre bassist Mark is fucking killer. Hes histerical, plus hes british! Then there was Eric Zannoti's band, and that kid is Hendrix reincarnated. Ive never seen a kid my age, and a year younger than me at that pull off a Hendrix tune. He never ceases to amaze me. And we closed the show, and i thought we did great. I had so much fun on stage, its like a 3 minute high, and i feel so comfortable and welcome up there. I definitely think its the life for me.
Malcolms doing good since B's death, i miss him still, but he lives on. Im gonna go out and get a new crab sunday. I dont know what kind, or how big, but defintely a new one. I'll post pictures of him too. Im about to go off and talk to Natalie. I miss her like crazy and im really excited to go snowboarding with her this weekend. Shes such a hot snowboarder chick. Shes got my attention.

 The Pimpest ride this side of farmington hills. The Warthog. (not actually, just the same type)
So Matt and I went to kinkos to get some more flyers done (somewhere between the numbers of 800-1000), and the Warthog (our van) was dishing out smoke and steam, and it totally stank like vag. So once we got into the parking lot of kinkos, we opened the hood, steam and smoke swallowed our faces whole, and we figured that the cause of it had to be the oil, or lack there of. We were thinking about driving home, but we figured since we're already here, we might as well do what we came to do. We printed out our flyers, got back in the car, and it was doing fine, until we passed the cursed 12 mile and Orchard lake. The Hog began overheating like crazy, so we had to pull over at least 6 or 7 times before we got home, which keep in mind, was only 2 miles away, tops. So we decided that tomorrow, there will be no Warthog to drive to school this week, but we will have it for the show friday. Help us get some cash by coming to the show! First of all, happy new year! Its already 2005 and i remember being on the computer in Beechviews library when it was 1997, looking at my user name, clarke2005, saying, damn thats a while away. So everyone, happy, healthy, hearty new year.
Today we started a new practice schedule that instead of 2 hours twice a week, and getting in 4 hours of practice a week TOPS, we now have moved up to 3 1/2 hours 3 times a week! Thats 10 1/2 hours a week! thats good, right? Well at practice today, Halle Berry(Mat Haliday, producing and recording for our new EP) came in to tune up a bit since we havent practiced in a while. He gave us good tips, and we wrote them down on our new Dry Erase board that makes things SO much more organized and easier. Yeah we use it for drawing shit on too, you were right Natalie.
Were polishing up on old songs and organizing them to sound better, cleaner, and with more bite, as well as writing new songs at the same time, trying to book shows all at once. This is tough stuff man! I think we need a booking agent who'll help us out with getting shows, and also do the business for us since we're already doing a lot of work as far as practicing, making sure our gear is in good condition, and making sure we have count of it all making sure its not getting stolen, working for cash for the CD's pressing, finding someone to do the pressing for a good price, buying a trailer, stickers, maybe shirts.
Ive got a lot of shit to do like start checking out places for the '05 Tour, book bands to go with, make calls to places, get my college ap's in, get in the CD to Don and Tony Fagenson so we can be rockstar famous, and Midterms right now. Fuckin A man.
